What is Together We Raise?
Together We Raise is social impact platform that unites nonprofits and small and midsized brands to effect change by engaging in strategic fundraising and other support strategies to benefit the causes we hold dear. We run digital fundraisers, IRL events (in non-Covid times), and provide impact consulting services for both our brand partners and our nonprofit beneficiaries.
When is the next auction?
To date we have run four auctions and a handful of smaller donation-based giveaways, raising over $70,000 for causes we care about. Our fifth auction is scheduled for May 2021 - stay tuned!
Is it only on Instagram?
For now, our auctions are held entirely on Instagram. Follow us at @togetherweraise_ to explore, engage, and bid.
How do I get in touch about media relations/PR?

How do I bid?
Each item up for auction will include the item’s retail value and a starting bid. You are invited to comment your bid in whole dollar amounts in increments of $5 unless otherwise noted. Posts are open for bidding until the auction ends on September 14th at 7pm. Winners will be contacted via comments in the post, at which point they will follow the link in our Instagram bio to donate the amount of their winning bid to our nonprofit beneficiary.

How do you select your causes?
Our nonprofit/social impact beneficiaries are selected in response to an assessment of community need at the local, state and national level. We ensure all partners are committed to efficacy, transparency, and view their work through a lens of racial and social justice.

Who is behind Together We Raise?
Together We Raise marries two of Harben Porter’s greatest passions: supporting the work of nonprofit organizations and uplifting ethical and sustainable brands seeking to braid social impact into their ethos. Harben has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years while simultaneously championing brands, artists, and makers committed to infusing their brands with good. She is inspired by the ways she sees orgs, brands, and individuals alike working toward a shared vision, and is thrilled to weave these three streams of change-makers together to create compounded impact.
Together We Raise is a collaborative effort, made possible by the stellar and unparalleled support of Gillian Lamon and Katie Skifstrom, two phenomenal women who embody all that Together We Raise stands for. So much of our impact comes from their incredible work and partnership, and they are deeply appreciated as professional colleagues and dear friends.
